Wheelie Question

Being relatively ham-fisted in my wheeliedom, I’ve a lot to learn. Powerwheelies in first, fine. Clutch wheelies, 1st / 2nd OK *

Gear change when up in first - no can do ( yet ) - any tips? Clutchless blip?

Also how do you do ‘at speed’ wheelies?

T’other day I was with 2 other bikes ( unknown )*, and we were tagging each other nicely. Where doing about 60 ish, I was leading and peeled off to left - other two carried on straight. As the second bike pulled ahead he popped a wicked sustained wheelie as way of saying ’ S’long '.

So whats the technique here - is it bang down quickly through the gears ( how many? ) and give it some wrist?
Was thinking this is:
A) mega-harsh on the engine, and
B) Stands a good chance of seriously locking up.

I’m sure someone will put me right here -

  • At Bruntingthorpe of course - damn it’s getting expensive. LOL

I wish I could help…but even now I can still only do wheelies on a poxy BMX!!

TonUp, I would sure like to see you on your BMX ’ stunting '…just remember to make sure that ET isn’t in the basket when you stack it mate.
