Wheel strips

Hi,

I have noticed that a few bikes out there have the wheel rim stips on…looks cool!..now I wana go!
Is it easy to put on? does it come on a reel or in pieces?, and how much/were can you get it from.

Cheers for the replies!

Hey MrGee. I have some on bike, and yes, it’s very easy to apply. The good decals come precurved in quarters, so you jus clean you wheels off, put the bike on stands (if you can, makes it a lot quicker), then just apply the quarters to the wheels.

yeah i have got some on my bike and i am crap at doing things like that but it is straight forward

Sorry guy’s…just noticed somebody else asking the same question at the bottom of the topic page.
Note to self…must check other questions before posting. Doh!

Just ordered a set online!

Is this wheel tape reflective?

No, it’s non-reflective. I thought that might be a bit too bling-bling, personally.

Balls! Iv’e just ****ed it up needing 2 more strips to finish it off, and it was going so well.
The back wheel was easy using a paddock stand, but not having a front paddock stand made doing the front wheel harder.

Oh well! better get online and order another set!.

Ah you ninny… Also buy a front paddock stand whilst you’re at it, they do wonders for being able to work on your bike easily. A must-have for every biker without a center-stand, in my opinion! £30 from TheBigBikeBook/Infinity.
