wheel and chassis alignment

I am really really pis*sed. Seems like everything is against me at the moment.

I had a little off at the end of the summer. Taken my time getting the bits I needed. (lost my job)

Got the last bit of tail Fairing I needed. So just went to fit it and I just realized the seat / tail area is twisted. Cannot believe I did not see it earlier.

I really need to get the bike tested to see if the main chassis is twisted or if its just the tail piece casting, if the main chassis is twisted the bike will be unsafe and I will need to get in contact with my insurance company.

Where can I take the bike to get measured. I am in North London.

Please help!!!

I wouldn’t mind betting its just the subby twisted which can be resolved with the aid of a scaffold pole and brute force:D

However if you want peace of mind do a search on here for “motoliner” and find recomendations

as chunks says prob only subframe.

was it a big smash/crash?

you can always do the 2 planks of wood parellel and line bike up in middle trick.

Had another look this morning with a fresh pair of eyes, It does just look like the very end part of the sub frame. It looks like a softish casting. Only a few bits to take it off. I see how much one costs on monday,

Still well pis*ed about it.

I would be looking to replace that sub frame.

Like modern forks, they are made of very light material nowadays and cannot easily be repaired as far as I know.

I got a replacement for my R1 on ebay for £70.

Went down to Motoliner today, Tommy down there did a great job, Checked everything, Adjusted what needed to be done. gave it a clean bill of health.
Very happy bunny! Its was great getting the gsxr back on the road.!~
