Whats the longest day out on the bike u have ever had???

I can’t really calculate the mileage but in the past i done a days dispatching round town from 08:30 to 18:30 on my GT550, then rode back home to Beckenham Kent, got on my old GSXR1100 and rode to Middlesboro (got there just before 23:00)

That was not an enjoyable day.

My hat comes off to you for managing that kinda mileage

did not included any train or ferry milage, that was the milage on the bike which i recoreded to see how far it was. Im still not walking propery!

Inverness to Sedgmore in Somerset, with a couple of detours, not sure now of the mileage but the time in saddle was around 15 hours

from ace cafe tomillau bridge and back in 23hrs 50 mins

From: Salamanca (spain) to Ouistreham (northern France Normandy).
Date: 1991
Bike: ZXR 750H2
Milage: forgotten - but lots!
It was unintentional - I had run run out of plastic money and only had enough cash for fuel and the odd cup of coffee I couldn’t even risk the toll routes. I had intended to sleep by the side of the road in France something I’d done many times before, but I hadn’t counted on RAIN, oh man it rained and rained, ok I did stop at a service station for a coffee, I stretched it out for a couple of hours but at around 9pm but they wanted to close so on I went. When I arrived at the coast it was a silly hour of the morning. I was soaked to the skin, starving hungry, freezing cold and very sore. On arrival I thought I would be comfortable in the terminal, but no I felt uncomfortable in any position I sat or lay in… except when sitting on the bike in a prone position arms folded on the tank. So there I sat until the 8am ish crossing.
Got back to london with a tea spoonful of petrol in the tank.
Discovered that I had been over charged for a petrol stop in Spain … by some £300 … a lesson learnt, an adventure had and an experience I can look back on with-OUT fond memories.

1265 miles in approx 30 hours. No stops bar for the train and picking gear up from my house in London.

Monaco to Edinburgh via NO motorways in France.

I’ll never do it again. It’s not big and it’s not ******* clever.

That’s good going

1200 miles in 31 hours, going to Krakow on my trusty CLR125. Having a top speed of 54mph, on the autobanh, in pitch darkness, in the rain, was not much fun.

Budapest to Marmaris on a ZZR1100. Left Budapest at 5 am and got to bed in marmaris at 1 am the following day. 2170 Kms in 20 hours…about half on motorway/fast roads with the rest on pretty much what you’d expect to find out there…Slept right through the day so pointless really…

jeeez thats good going!!!
