Was she Italian Kev?
I ask as we met a lady in Florence last summer who was just setting out for yet another round the worlder on a R80GS. Her bike had been to the moon and back a few times :w00t:

Don’t think she was Italian, she was what I would call an old fashion lady. Was late 50’s or early 60’s. She was saying that in South America she had an off, broke the front end and her left wrist. She repaired the bike, and then rode the 200 miles to the nearest hospital to get her arm fixed.
The speedo on my PX200 was showing around 65k when the barrel and piston were replaced.
But that could have been 165K, 265K, 365K …

She used to work at our place, took redundancy a few years back, packed her bags & rode off into the wild blue yonder.
Anyway if you’re having a boring day at work there’s enough of photos there to allow you to day dream your way through until 5 o’clock… 
I have heard of a few blades doing well over 100K miles with no major work. They can take some punishment!
I was getting my B12 MOT’d a couple of years ago & the bloke waiting in front of me was a courier on a B6, that had done over 240K with the only engine work (other than routine plugs, filters & oil) being a couple of sets of clutch plates & a cam chain & tensioner, engine still sounded sweet too.
Admittedly, the rest of the bike was a right wreck though… 
Chunks i noticed you havent said what high milage on your bike is, but mind you it must be a bout 100miles, as its rarely been out with you on it as we havent had 3 days of dry roads for a while…lol
well this thread has made me feel better i was getting worried that my mileage was high on my sv650 its at 27k on a 53 plate
My last Busa had 60K when I sold it:) still purred like a goodun:w00t:
