Newbie night tonight
Day of the Hornet
Is that why there was one hornet there at 5.00 pm?
He he he…sounds about right:D
Well, it was scheduled from 10am to 5pm, so that would sound about right .
Also the rain & cold perhaps kept a few people away and the fact that I discovered a screw in my deflated rear tire this morning didn’t help me.
… and the fact its super cold and wet outside and no one wants to get cold or wet… had it been in the “summer” months, im sure plenty would have been up there including myself!
Sorry, forgot Hornets need to hibernate.
?
Err, no.
:doze:
Wasps & HornetsClass: Insecta
Order: HymenopteraWarmer spring weather brings many insects out of their winter
hibernation, including queen wasps. In early spring, one often sees
several of these large insects flying along the eaves and walls
of houses in search of possible nesting sites. Wasps are
no real bother to us at this time of year…

So, when is your bike specific club’s day at The Ace then?
How many would turn up on a day like today?
There were five Triumphs there at 5pm, we`re not made of sugar.
That’l be why my hornet is tucked away in the garage on paddock stands awaiting its makeover and me tucked away in me workshop busy as ever over the cold winter lol:D

Hornet with amateur paint job, bent crash bung and nail. No wonder they don`t get seen out that much.
It’s got bugger all to do with the bike, but the rider, as well you know ![]()
All this is nonsense certainly going towards your place on the front page.

Bzzzzzzzz…
maybe it was invisible hornets day
