Last night, I was on my way home, some idiot in a black VW polo I think was on the mobile phone nearly took out a load of cyclists and all over the road…
anyway I go passed beeb at him and carry on, get past the mini roundabout where there is a load of stopped traffic and would you adam and eve it, a cop car.
Now what would you have done, informed the officers or carried on?
just curious to see what other people would do if for once like last night the police were where you needed them to be.
I’d have woken the plod up and asked them to do something 
would have been tempted to talk with the plod if lives had been put in danger
but can they do anything if they didnt witness it?
I can`t see anything wrong it that.
funny you say that I was going to say he should have tried harder but did not want to offend!! as we know someone on here will get upset
I would have mentioned it to them - although they may have asked whether you were willing to give a statement - as they won’t have witnessed anything themselves… the worst that could have happened is that they would have said “thanks, we’ll look into it” and ignored it
Well I did report the guy, and as I rode off I watched the coppers pull over and wait for the car to go past them.
I’m not usually a grass but so many times people have nearly taken me out whilst on the phone so I have no tolerance for them what so ever
I would have quite happily given a statement, and an offer to stamp on the phone.
