ok I finally decided this morning my winter gloves are proper poo but to be fair I did “borrow” them from pizza hut when I left.
I want a pair that will keep my hand nice and toasty, it is that or I may have to resort to getting heated grips, but as am comtemplating selling the bike on I dont want to spend the money on them.
Let me know peeps.

I bought a pair of lobster claw gloves and they are brilliant.
Purely in the interests of science and for the good of this esteemed community I have just ordered a pair of heated gloves. I’ve tried muffs and don’t like the way they impede my reach for the levers etc. (There’s only one type of muff I’m willing to … :P)
I will let you know how I get on. I’m looking forward to the bit where I fall off, get tangled up in the cables and dragged down the road for 150 yards – should warm me up nicely.

Did 100 ish miles in mine when they arrived sat morning.
I agree with the loss of feeling, but you soon get used to the thicker glove.
They are indeed toastie, my hands were warm the entire trip. 1 x happy man:)
well all in all I have to say I was not in anyway impressed by these, I paid about £57 inc postage and to be honest I could still not feel the tips of my fingures when I got into work…
They feel nice but thats it…
Got some gloves for Xmas - brilliant:P Theyre called Thermerino gloves and theyre a weird mix of wool, possum fur and polyprop. Just tested them in the snow and ice up in scotland both on their own and under gauntlets. Can well recommend them.
