1975 Yamaha RD125 (JOT 320P) then after test Yamaha RD350 (GOR 828N) reg numbers just in case they are still around. Also had a RD250 which I got very cheap when the learner law was changed to the 12 hp 125 cc which I swapped for a TY 175 trials bike. The one bike I wish I still had was my RD 500 sprayed Marlboro colours by dream machine.

my very first form of 2 wheeled motorised transport was a motobécane mobylette then a puch maxi as cool as shyte going to school then parking up in the teachers car park

the good old days

Imported a Minsk from Vietnam:

Yamaha FS1E with black micron exhaust and before that I had a Puch moped thing, had to pedal to make it go faster.
Pinched my brothers Triumph Thunderbird to ride to school, I was 16 :Whistling:

GPz1100-A1 (ZX1100-A1 on the log book). I part exchanged my GPz550 Unitrak for it in 1984:

In 1986, I part exchange it for a GPz600R:

My first “classic” has been my dad’s vintage MV Agusta 350GT from 1972, what a sound.
Six years ago I took it to Giovanni Magni in Samarate (Northern Italy) for a “face lift”. Shining like a diamond!

A 33 year old German dental nurse when I was 20.

Kawasaki 250 triple.

That looks awesome!

Unfortunately not, as she was a classic
Sadly probably a grandmother now, and needs a kick start first thing in the morning :w00t:

Not my first bike, but my first classic also was a Honda 400/4 F1, navy blue. Rather sad story actually, it belonged to a friend at work who had a really minor lowside off going home. He was giving another colleague a lift home when he lost the back end for some reason on a gentle bend, they slid gently up a grass bank and stopped. Rider and bike were completely unharmed but the passenger, somehow, was killed. My friend was naturally devastated, gave up biking and never rode again, and was happy to sell the Honda to me and never see it again. Great bike though, never had a moment’s trouble with it and eventually part-exed it for a Moto-Guzzi.

Mine was an early GSXR 400. Beautiful Bike and other than a few Minor differences (To the Untrained eye) looked just like his Bigger Brother the GSXR1100. It was lucky (and unlucky) enough to be the pruod owner of many of my “Firsts”
