What music do you like to dance to?

Anything with a good beat.
But prefer Deep House or (Detroit) Techno. Damn dance music genres are stupid.

As Fuckpony says - “It’s only music baby!”

Long Live Derrick Carter, Green Velvet & Jeff Mills!
Acid is dead, long live Acid! (NY not UK ;))

I dont dance if anything i headbang but not done that for a while, lol

If had to dance like use to out on’t **** l8 80’s 90’s then it has to be l8 80’s/90’s indie, Happy mondays, the farm, carter usm etc etc.

Got a great cd compilation that covers most of it, called Unbelieveable.

Ya just know it’ll end up on you tube, lol

Any thing funky…not rave or dance!!!

I’m far too English to dance. Instead I sit by the sidelines waxing my moustache and sipping Gin.

R

Drum and Bass!! used to be old skool hardcore( no…not porn!..):D:P

metallica rule! but i cant dance to it!?:w00t:

Johnny Rivers - Rockin Pnemonia & Boogie woogie blues…

caught my old man dancing to it in the living room when i was 10yrs old…

brilliant song…

smiled:D.

anything that’s got a half decent beat. 90s for me it was the night crawlers, happy mondays etc.

tsk* you’re not supposed to dance to it… air guitar and drums more like. Saw them in July. Couple of mosh pits opened up either side of me… which was fun :w00t: there was some right chav nut jobs in there too! Stood on the edge and bounced them back (via an elbow) back into the meleeeeee. Jumped in a couple of times. Was a bit tame actually. Been in rougher ones, like the Levellers at the Corn exchange years ago or skunk and ansie. I will dance to anything (badly) depending on what mood I’m in.:stuck_out_tongue:

Now you’re talking my language ! Was into metal a lot more in my younger years must have mellowed out a bit in my old age :doze:
Been to some pretty rough gigs too, some ones that remind me of being in pain the next day ware Slayer at the Brixton academy in 94, Cannibal Corpse a couple of years later at the Underworld, The Exploited about 4 years ago at the Underworld. Hatebreed gigs are usually pretty ‘lively’ too !

Every time I woke up the next day with bruises (and the odd cut) I’d swear that I’d stop going into the pits at gigs - but at the next gig get beered up, over excited, then right into the pit !:w00t:

The Hokey Cokey…Skinhead Mooooonstomp

Depending on if its Stella or Kronenberg !!!

I had fun at the Bad Manners gig when they played in Hitchin 10 years ago. Love a bit of stomp and ska…

Not heard of any of those bands mark… sorry. Got Kerrang on now and it’s all much the same, not many grab my attention enough for me to go out and buy an album, other than SOAD - they just tick all the boxes of my mentality. (warped)

SOAD are pretty cool indeed…they used to play a lot of them in the electric ballroom (back when it was good there)… 200 or so metallers singing their hearts out to them…especially to Chop Suey.

Aww man…I miss the ballroom as it was…:crying:

You’ve not heard of slayer? thought you said you listened to Metal! If were talking hard here, went to a gis, third world posse at the amersham arms headbangers ball covered it too with that vanessa bird. anyway the guitarist had a recent crash or summat and h had his arms in a cage with shitloads of pins holding it together, didnt stop him thrashing that guitar, lol. cos was in a pub the lighting rig was about a ft above the head and everyone was swinging on it.Third world posse was an undercover name for Sepultura, fvcking brill gig.

Prodigy, they’re so f***ing annoying that I have to stand up and do something

depends what company im in, with a lady its gotta be rnb to grind to  and with me mates dance cos im normally off my face on drink lol

Not that I dance anymore but red hot chilli peppers, therapy, madness, muse, cypres hill, metalica, rage against machine I could go on for ages:)

good list…

slayer - yeah embarressed to say I missed that one in the post. I think they were at download. Lost track of who I saw there… slip nott were good - loved the upsidedown drum solo; black sabbath (1st cd I ever got), billy idol was surprisingly good… there were so many.

Upside down drum solo, pah. motley crue back in 1989 tommy lee had his drum kit fitted to 1 of them spinning around things, gyro thingys and lordy! did it spin, lol, and he kept up with the beat.
was right at the front of that gig, with white lion and skid row. Cracking.
