So this bloke thought it was funny to take a leak on a woman dying in the street and get his mate to film it…discuss…
I read this in the paper and it made me feel sick.
It never ceases to amaze me that we have such hideous creatures walking this earth
unreal, i am sure he will get what is coming to him.
Hopefully we’ll be reading a story about her brother doing the same to that knob while he lies dying in a gutter somewhere.
Hartlepool has it’s own idea of justice, trust me.
i cant believe anyone would, or could be so cruel… i hope he gets his just deserts
It’s impossible to understand what makes somebody do that, I can’t imagine walking past somebody in that state and even ignoring them, how he managed to think of doing that is unbelievable.
Hopefully he will be repeatedly raped in prison
Folks,
We bring many of these things on ourselves.
Now before everyone flames me because they feel that’s insensitive and unfair, I admit, NONE OF US had anything to do with this sort of disgusting disgraceful behaviour.
However, many of us on here are avid fans of the weird, unusual and crazy stuff that appears on YouTube, from the shock horror of cops beating the crap out of criminals in the US, or some idiot leaping off a building and breaking his leg, or someone wheelying on British roads at 137 miles an hour…I’m sure i’ve seen that on here once or twice…
So when we point these indignant fingers, we should also ask ourselves why these people think that sort of thing would be YouTube material…?
Believe me, there are people out there looking at motorbikers who’ve posted their ludicrously illegal speeding in Britain (we’ve sent it round going wow look at this) and all they can think is “Christ, dont’ those idiots know how dangerous that is…?” Well do we…? Or do we “know” differently"?
This kind of world and attitude propagates precisely BECAUSE madness and rule-breaking is a part of a British way of life. YES, this guy went too far in “our” view of what’s acceptable, WAY TOO FAR …but what is “acceptable” and who decides…please before anyone gets the wrong idea from that, I’m not suggesting that would EVER be even close to acceptable. That’s not what I’m saying at…
Not sure if I’m making sense with this, but surely the phrases “people in glass houses” does have some relevance in a way because like you and I would both agree its illegal and disgusting and horrendous to pee on a dying person, surely its illegal and offensive and dangerous to drive on our roads at 137mph, but I KNOW people on here who have admitted to doing exactly that…are we as in need of a Crown Prosecution casting judgement on us…?
Maybe there should be less tolearance of the totally flagrantly inconsiderate.
I’ve always felt lawyers ruined the justice system, cos we don’t stop criminals now. Now we stop police inscase they’ve infringed the individuals right (whether that individual is criminal or not)
Prison used to be a deterrent. Punishment is supposed ot be a deterrent. IF it doesn’t DETER, then what is the point?
If no one is afraid of the consequences of breaking the rules, what’s the point of the rules. Rich people ignore parking laws, cos a £60 parking fine doesn’t mean anything to them. People who have grown up with poerty and violence aren’t going to change their ways because they are given 100 hours community service. Lawyers aren’t going to understand the expression justice because it bears NO RELEVANCE at all to their jobs. Their job is about “defending their client” for a salary. Where does justice actually enter into that equation?
Sorry, too deep for this time of hte morning, but I actually want the police to look away for 5 minutes whilst I crush that idiots nuts between two sharp bricks. I don’t want my kids growing up in a world where that’s the kind of thing that’s deemed to be entertianing, and I have to admit, watching a YouTube video of a someone’s speedometer whirling round to 137mph doesn’t really do much for me either. A dial goes up a dial goes down. That’s entertaining?
Call me kiljoy, everyone else does!
(Rant endeth here)
Tablet time, Toby… think that could be your new forum name…
Toby, I agree with much of what you say but urinating on an ill lady laying on the floor is simply wrong at every level, nothing to do with youtube or society. This chap needs to spend some time excluded from society and learning what it means to be a human.
Absolutely, but his actions were based within our society, the one WE ALL inhabit, and perpetuate. If YouTUbe wasn’t htere, this guy would still do horrendous things, granted, but this is just one extreme, there are plenty of others which , although not as horrifyingly disgusting or degrading, are indicative of our utter failure to show consideration adn respect for each other.
I don’t really believe England is very civilised any more. There’s far too much ego mania and obsession with individual rights. Maybe its London that’s made me cynical but EVERY SINGLE DAY I see hundreds of examples of rude, slefish, inconsiderate, ugly, mannerless behaviour that is embrassing in its selfishshness. And the people who behave like that don’t think its wrong, they see it as their right to behave exactly like that because our culture tells people, be yourself, do what you want, have whatever you want, take whatever you want, don’t let anyone or anything hold you back…not even manners or considerate behaviour.
Yeah its sick, and yeah I am sometimes guilty of it as well, but I do believe we aren’t civilised any more, we’re actually a pretty disgraceful bunch sometimes.
That saisd, having read that back, good things do happen. BCW Weekend for a start, volunteering time and effort. There are good people who do care. BUt it just makes me so angry that that is a rarity and not the norm!
Perhaps the rarity but also very much the understated. Using your example of the BCW which was a major event, you also get the occasional and often unnoticed incidents of the individuals who do go teh extra mile for someone else.
I am fortunate to have seen this happen on more than one occasion and it does go toward restoring my belief that not everyone is bad, in my opinion.
Added to that, in an interest such as biking which is usually a testosterone fueled ego driven persuit, I found it really refreshing to find that all of you that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting are really friendly and welcoming. Not to mention helpful (even though some of you are flat out crazy!
)
Don’t take me as a bleeding heart “everyone has rights” type of guy but as much as I despise the kind of behaviour seen here, I can’t help but wonder why this individual would see that kind of behaviour as acceptable. As the original topic asks, what kind of society do we live in that would nuture such an individual? What kind of influences were over this man, and that is what I find deeply saddening.
That being said, his actions were unquestionably inexcusable, regardless of upbringing, influences or anything else, and I am certain that he will be duly rewarded as appropriate.
An offence has been committed and, regardless of the reasons, a punishment needs to be the consequence.
agreed… society has always been warped - depends where you are standing and what your peception of it is. Regardless of how this kid was raised, I cannot see any parent being anything but disgusted, ashamed and embarressed at that kids actions. Hell, if that was my son - he’d be pushing up daisies! The one filming it is even worse in my book.
I always been against those who lobby against video games and films etc BUT parents do have a responsibility not to let their kids get their hands on the grown up material. I had a go at my sister’s mate for letting my son play grand theft auto san andres. It was her SIX year old’s game ffs! They were in the bonus points bit where they decapitate the hostages… wtf! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a 2000ad fan and love the guts and violence in the comic but I wouldn’t let my 10 year old read it (saving them for him though). It’s true - because of the ‘modern parenting’ of many (not all) and our media, kids are becoming more desensitised to violence etc. Kids should be kids.
Also, I’m going to have a dig at society who build people up and then knock 5 kinds of **** out of them. I’m all for fart and dick jokes and love the smut but what’s with people having to find humour in crimes that should make you cold to the bone? The whole Mc Cann car thing - yeah, funny play on words but it’s sick. Lets joke about about peadaphilles too and how they steal children to order for their sick pleasures. Yeah, really funny.
And that’s what’s wrong with this world - we all cry injustice and laugh about it with tongue in cheek. How many people watched the video of that kid pissing on that dying lady? If you walked past this scene, would you stop? yes, cos you are decent, honest and honourable people.
