What inner tubes do i go for?
The michelin HD ones or another make?
Do I also fit that slime stuff?
Cheers Knobbers

id just get some heavy duty ones or what evers cheap
great input there Ross. Spot on. I didnt even think about that really.
cor yeah i want some £2 inner tubes popping whilst out in the middle of some byways…
…hence asking as i know the ‘done thing’ and a better option is to fit heavy duty tubes. Just wanted some advice on what ones. For example id never buy standard Dunplops.
i know right XD haha id personly get heavy dutys when i need to buy a new one thats what im geting.
most inner tubes im pretty sure are exactly the same no matter on make i know loads of comapnys make them for 21/18 inch wheels but only have ever seen one make for the 17 inch supermoto wheels and i thought the 625’s are tubeless
625 has tubes … Just make sure its the straight valve and not offset … However if you buy an offset by mistake I need one so will buy it off you at discount price ))))
They are not tubeless. Thanks Numnum. And No, i wont be selling them onto you, i’ll sell them to Ross as arm bands when swimming
50p and a pack of 6 month out chewing gum XD
…no offence but this is the best thing i have ever read on here :):)![]()
i have used the michelin hd on my old DRZ but didn’t do any greenlanes so can’t comment on the quality but i think any HD is better than standart tubes.
I went to Essential Rubber last week and they said that they would not repair a tyre that had the slime in them… though this was for a tubeless tyre…
They said the mess it makes, makes plugging it a nightmare and a safety hazzard
One’s that increase the fuel economy??

I think i miss communicated. I meant that green silicone banding that you put on the inside of your rim between the rim and the tube. Its like a protective skin (helps anyway) I wasnt talking about that foam slime you squirt in there. This stuff makes no mess.
ah ok different things then…
cant rember the name but aslong as yours is good condishen its fine its to stop the spoke nipples poping the tube i kow people who just wrap electrical tape or gaffa tape over it and it works for them
