Just went to collect my 08 blade yesterday from the paint shop, not a repair but really wanted the suzuka HRC dream honda colours. received the phone call and managed to blag a lift from my daughter. up went the shutters and there she was. Stunning. Could not wait to get her home and tucked up in bed. paid the man and with daughter in tow set off. 300 yds a tight right hander less than 20 mph but the oil on the road was enough to loose the rear then bite and me looking down thinking this is going to hurt.
5 hours in hospital 4 broken ribs broken color bone and shoulder. daughter abusing me for being so selfish to crash in front of her. and all i could think of is £££££ and my shattered dream. oh well at least the spray shop was nearby and came quick to collect the old girl. :crying:

Mate, that is absolutely awful. Gutted for you and so sorry for both you and your dream bike/paint job.

Just an update. Ribs and shoulder coming on fine. Baby back in bits and in the paint oven. All bolt on repairs finished. A big thank for the good wishes and kind comments. kind ov restores your faith in people.;):):)
