I had to go for an impromptu meeting in Warren Street so decided to take the bike from my office in Croydon - I know enough places to kind of pick my way there, but am seriously not used to riding in london…
Got across Victoria Bridge, intending to head up the Strand, round on to Kingsway and bosh, job done…
Except no - everything between Victoria and Westminster was shut off so ended up getting lost in Chelsea, Fulham, Knightsbridge and Kensington - don’t ask how…
Not a happy bunny.
To make matters worse - it took me an hour and a half to find a bridge to get back to my beloved Saaf Lonnon on the way home - I hate everything north of the river - scum, the lot of it!
