I’m sorry but I just think this is wrong.
It may be wrong chunky, but at the end of the day, it’s not really our business…there are plenty of reasons for each side to the story. I can see why people wouldn’t like it, but on the other hand, if they are looking for their daughter, and haven’t worked, how will they keep their home? (thats a rehtorical question, no answers wanted! and it’s not aimed at anyone speciafically either)

My view is that the great and the good parted with their hard earned in a bid to find Maddie. The fact she hasn’t been found means the cash raised should still be used to continue the search.
They’d be hard pushed to carry on searching if they lost their house, especially if the other children lost their home. I’m not overly fond of this whole thing or them either but in the greater scheme of things a few mortgage payments isn’t going to make much difference.
Agreed! But do you think that the money raised should be used to hire profesional people to search for them while they go back to work? Cos I think it would look better in the public eye. But then who knows, cos im not in their position (thank the Lord)
The fund was set up to help the family… that included making sure they kept a roof over their head. Inspite of our feelings of how the McCanns have conducted themselves, they only used £4k out of over £1million. It was money raised for them and they have used it so. Now, if they had used the money to pay off their mortgage… that would be another story.
I can understand your frustration. I think the media have blown this out of proportion as usual… if you listen between the lines, it’s a fund to help the family and since they have been named as suspects, they haven’t had a penny.
So by calling the fund “Leaving No Stone Unturned Limited” it’s not percieved as a fund to find the missing girl?I appologise if i’m wrong about this
