What do you keep under your seat?

So I just watched a video on youtube of a chap who did a decent puncture repair with a kit he had stashed under his bike seat after he found a piece of copper lodged in the tyre, which virtually flattened after he removed it.

To be honest, I don’t keep anything under mine apart from a few slowly rusting tools from the original kit (which I doubt i’ll ever use), but now im considering one of these portable kits (it even had an air cannister to re-inflate the tyre).

Thought i’d ask what ‘essentials’ you keep under your seat before every ride (aside from your packed lunch obviously  )

My bike is safely stashed under mine …firmly attached … it comes in useful now and again

A half bottle of brandy and a copy of Razzle, just in case.

I know the battery is under there. I also have a puncture repair kit and a disc-lock…no room left for anything else.

chain lock, fags, lighter and helmet bag and basic tools.

Air. That’s all I can get in. It’s not even a whole air. Probably only half an air. Tight arse bike…

Funny shaped round of sandwiches

Hemp sack, flunitrazepam, bungee cords.

Battery and the exhaust mainly. I guess I could make some toasted sandwiches under there… not sure how they’d taste though

Fuel.

Mine has a few unused tools, a pair of cheapy hi-viz waterproof trousers that I always forget about when it rains and a cargo net that I always seem to take out the day before I need it (including one occasion when I had to ride back from saisbury with a bag full of shopping stuffed down my jacket)

I used to keep a puncture repair kit in there but they kept perishing and when I finally did get a puncture I ignored it and went to the pub to wait for the RAC anwyay.

Now I keep a jacket in there, normally with some emergency fuel cash in the pocket, and sometimes an assortment of tools.

I thought it was gaffer tape that you had stowed under there. :hehe:

Nah, that’s what the luggage is for - takes too long to get at it from under the seat.

tool kit
tape
cable ties
disk lock
chain and padlock
small can of chain lube
adjustable spanner
bandage

power commander, car lighter socket, PUK, visor cleaner, heated gloves cable!

Absolutely nothing. Mainly due to the fact you can’t actually fit anything under it :Wow:

I always thought that Panigale riders kept their roasted nuts under there? :hehe:

Just remember that’s there when you start diagnosing a really peculiar rattling noise…
