What bike?

I was coming back from Wales last weekend and at the petrol station in Llangorse, I saw a lovely looking bike and committed the name on the side of it to memory to look it up when I got back. I have promptly forgotten the bloody thing.

Bit of a long shot, it was a cruiser, about the size and shape of a Sportster, it was jet black with low slung pipes on the right hand side in matt black. The wheels were also shaped design rather than spokes kind of large machined shaped. I think the name of the bike began with a ‘V’. It was a newish bike about an 08 plate? Any thoughts? Long shot I know.

In reply to my own post, I think it may have been a Victory of some sort, although I can’t see any versions with matt black pipes.

V Max?

with black pipes:

Jesus, that’s a beast. No, it wasn’t that. Def more old school and simple looking. I am thinking that I am on the right tracks with the Victory. Just not the model maybe.

Is there a prize?

Something like this? (slowest website in the world BTW)

http://bikes.portfolio-europe.net/ezweblite/public/styles/STD_WEBSITE_3/STD_WEBSITE_MAIN.asp?CMS_CODE=STD_WEBSITE_VIEWBIKE&PAGE_CODE=WIDE&BRA_ID=5184&GRP_ID=4921&FRC_ID=66&SP_ID=1373880

That’s the closest I could find as well, but it had blacked out pipes which were a bit more subtle. Maybe they were aftermarket.

No prizes, just a smug sense of superiority!

Thats no fun!

I wont suggest its a King Pin or an 8 Ball then:D

Cheers peeps.

could it of been an old vincent rep:

?

Seems to be aftermarket pipes:

Edit:

Thats very nice and I’m really not into cruisers

Nice one. Thats gonna be it.
