What a clever phuck!

I watched a guy heading outa town on a red Ducati 749 on the Lower Thames Street - Lime House Tunnel run this evening.

Yesterweek on LB we were discussing us creating bigger margins of safety for ourselves. This guy had it down to a fine art. When filtering between 2 lanes of staggered traffic (2 lanes in both directions), on passing the cars to his right, he moved right over to te left of the left lane and when passing cars to his left, he moved right over to the right of the outer lane! The extra margin for error (of the car drivers he passed) must have increased by 3-4ft compared with how most riders would pass the same traffic.

What a pleasure to see someone being really proactive about their own safety! I wonder if he’s an LBer?
