i bought a shoei xr1000 for £250 in a nice orange from george white

then i saw it for 200 at padgetts! :pinch:

so when back to GW and got my money back but in the end left with an arai :w00t:

Bargain king… I got a bag that had lots of bits of paper in it… said Carole Nash on the outside… they were giving them away free, but all those leaflets about insurance and joinign the AA must have cost pennies to print up so I’m a winner :slight_smile:

Then I spalshed out, I couldn’t help it… 2 whole pounds for an extendable magnetic prod to collect nuts and bolts in hard to reach places that you’ve dropped.

Bloody hell, inflation is steep. I got one of those for £1 a couple of years ago. Too skint to go this time around, and besides, Ebay give me a better deal with £75 delivered for chain and sprocket set for my bike 530ZVM2 and JT Sprockets. Should have cost £135…

I went yesterday, I left with two things…

1/ A longing to bvuy a new bike pronto as selling mine hurt too much.

2/ Hope - that of all the ‘win a bike’ competitions I entered that i may actually win one, i am aware this is an insane and very unlikely prospect but someone has to wint right?

Oh i thought of a third thing…excitement, shiny new bikes are just brilliant !
