Thought i’d try something different to usually throwing them in the bin. When the letter turned up saying it was now £100 i took a photo copy of the back of the logbook where the new owner fills it in, then filled it in with a ficticious name and a random address, photo copied that, then sent it off saying i had sold the veichle before parking violation and here are the persons details. Recieved a letter today saying the liability has been transfered to the nominated person. What joy ! The thought of bailiffs going on a wild goose chase will keep me amused for ages.
Good to know that mate! 100 quid less wouldn’t do me any good…
Definately getting a laugh here at the thought of them wasting their time. Was just wondering why you got a ticket in the first place? Dont you cover your numberplate over?
Hey… I like it…
I always write those '****s’ a letter, telling them how disgusted I am for getting a ticket in the first place! In the letter I explain how the bike had broken down again (snigger)or had a flat tyre… and also say, how I had left a note on the bike explaining the situation!!! And I had gone for a coffee while I waited for the recovery to turn up. When I returned to my bike the note that I left was screwed up on the floor and replaced with a ticket!!! (this should get the Parking Attendant a Bolking also :-)) You also need a friend who works for a recovery firm, for a recept. This has been working for me for the last 5 years!!! WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY!!!
Haha, that’s funny, nice one I’ll have to remember that!
