Just got in… JasonB got the maps out, found some pukka green lanes, both gunning it thru a twistie lane, Jason leading, went round a bend and saw Jason lock the front wheel up…and f*ck me theres a river in front of him :smiley:

1st time thru no probs, so I say to Jas, video it, so thru I go and stalled it half way across :Whistling:

Pushed the bike out, emptyed me boots of the river…Bit of luck up she fired again :slight_smile:

Best crack I’ve had on a bike, should of got one years ago.

Finished off with Ace and Frith :slight_smile:

Boy I love my KTM

When I started green laning I didn’t ride on tarmac for months, so much fun!

Sounds great but you should not be there if restricted, walkers, cyclists and horse riders are still allowed but not motor vehicles.
You can get troubles if stopped, Section 34 & 59 Road Traffic Act.

You can legally ride on ‘Byways open to all traffic (BOAT)’, ‘other routes with public access (ORPA)’ and ‘unclassified county roads (UCR)’.
On the OS map BOATS look like this ++++++

Let me know next time as I know lots of BOATS in Herts :wink:

Yep they looked like ++++++++++++ on the map, At the start of em it had byway with a red arrow thing.

All the lanes we found seemed ok except the one with the river, at one end it said no motor and had a picture of a car, at the other end it said restricted by way…was fun though :hehe:

Herts is miles away for a friday night, we wernt that far from slough :slight_smile:

Jason was on road tyres, I had wets, never seemed to work in the river though :hehe:

Think my mistake was not giving it enough revs to allow for when the front of the engine went in and the resistance from it…live and learn :slight_smile:
