I’m after a good welder to reattach part of a mounting block for the front engine bolt.
Also need to core out a snapped exhaust header bolt and helicoil. Any options for SE London. Engine is out of the bike and I can strip it down further to move it more easily.
I can drill and helicoil.
Is it Ali welding you need doing?
Hi, yes, ali welding. GS450 engine. I tried drilling out the snapped stud and have messed it up.
Had another got at the stud and sorted it out this afternoon. Also helicoiled it as well, so takes a larger bolt, but this is fine as it works! Means I don’t need to find a new barrel at the least.
