im glad londonbikers is back online

but now i have more work as im a host on both cbc and londonbikers

I’d replied already in the site-issues forum.

The servers were fine, it was a network problem with our hosts. They suffered a hardware failure and were only just recently able to get it fixed, if you can believe it. We’ll take steps to guard against this in future if possible. We already have a plan for duplicating our hosting across multiple providers to protect against similar problems.

Man, what a stressful day. I need a bud.

I didn’t realise just how many times I visited the site during the course of a normal ‘working’ day until it wasn’t there.

Next time make sure you have a good supply of 50p’s for the meter, my mum used to swear by this rule, we never lost a minutes television.
