top pub with large car park and bike friendly landlord, called Pat, looking to establish a regular Wednesday meet.

He’s asked me, as occasional barman, to put the word out and invite people to come down, loiter in the car park, and spend vast amounts of money on hugely profitable soft drinks… :wink:

To be honest, there aren’t that many places that like having a swarm of bikers hanging around, but Pat is a breath of fresh air.

It is in a suburban area, and there’s nowhere that close to prove how big your bits are… There is a nice roundabout nearby… If a little busy…

Great idea, we have a N.London/Herts meet once a month which proves very successful, especially in the summer months.:cool:

One for S.London/Surrey sounds good but I’d suggest you chose a different night as it clashes with out Borough Market Meet :slight_smile:

I know exactly where this is, been in there a few times in the past.

Have to agree with Chunky though it would clash with our weekly meet at Borough Market.

Depends on how many you get turn up i suppose and then maybe change the day…

Good luck with this and i will try and get along with a few friends soon.

This is still gonna be on a Wednesday night for now… If it needs to change nights, it’ll be sooner rather than later…

If i get out of work in time and the weather is ok i may pop by on my way to Borough Market for our weekly meet, or i may pop by on the way back home afterwards.

Does all depend on the weather though.

I didn’t see any bikes so i left. I hope you had a decent turnout, sorry i got there late.
