I’m in the office, after trudging through the snow to get to the tube, central London is clear of snow at the moment…but I think North London is getting hit with snow at the moment, as they are starting to shut some of the tube lines
Well that was an interesting drive in this morning. We have about 6 inches of snow and i had to dig the car out:w00t: roads are trecherous in and around Bracknell/Reading, M3 is down to 2 lanes and moving but about 30mph the side roads are an ice rink and abandoned lorries everywhere. Basically outside the M25 its terrible.
Take care out there if you do venture out and look out for impatient 4x4 drivers passing you in deep slush and covering you in crap, god i nearly pulled one bloke out his car he was driving like a complete nobber:angry:
morning you lot, im packing and getting ready to head back, its not sounding like im gunna enjoy getting off the plane, hopefully it will have gone by friday 6am!
More forecast for this afternoon (though not as bad) - then very bad on Sunday (so they say) - so you might just be ok. Would be funny seeing you at Heathrow in your surfing gear though!
Afternoon all. I’m still on leave, so no major issues there. Just need to get my niece to Heathrow from SE London on Sunday though… that is going to be fun fun fun, especially if her flight is delayed/cancelled/postponed/terminated etc… I am in hospital on Monday for tests that will render me totally out of action for that day, so no backup plan at present, especially since my wife is working and has prior commitments etc… Hoo Ha! Ah well, at least it looks pretty out there at present. Last rode the bike two days ago and managed to have lots of fun!!!
