I came across this website on Youtube oddly enough, they did some video reviews of crash helmets that youtube decided I would be interested in…which I was.
I then checked the website.
If you thinking about buying something bike related, I strongly recommend you check out their review section. It is quite large and covers a lot of stuff and the reviews seem honest and up front about any issues.
yeah, they’re pretty comprehensive in their selection and give relatively objective opinions which is good… OTHER THAN FOR ARAI! They always seem to slag arai visors. I mean the guy’s reviewed dozens in his time. If he can’t figure out how to change the arai visor or service it then :P.
But Arai’s Visor system IS terrible, and is the worst on the market. nearly everyone else has a better solution.
Definitely, I have owned a Shoei, Schuberth, and Arai helmets and the visor system suck donkey balls. It shouldn’t feel like you’re attempting to break the helmet to get it back on, and don’t get me started on the pointlessness of the side pods.

It is worse than my first Honda branded lid, and that used a screw and washer into a brass fitting!
