Has anyone heard any long range forecasts that offer light at the end of this tunnel.? I am beginning to think spring / summer might never come

I remember summer last year, it was on a wednesday.
We don’t seem to have a proper winter, albeit cezar will disagree, but then he is from far more temperate clime’s.
I hope the mild weather stays as I have no problem getting out and about on my bike and have ridden it all year. But, this being enland we will no doubt get a foot of snow next week, if we do can anyone lend me a trials bike ?

its impossible to predict the weather for than two days at a time even then atmosphereic pressure will change rendering a forecast wrong look at th BBC 5 day forecast it changes everyday, but what i can say it will be shit for a few weeks to come as this is Great Britain.
According to latest reports we are in for arctic conditions this week. Much of the country could see heavy snow falls. Wind coming from the North. So most of the snow should get dumped up north but it will still feel very cold down here due to the wind.
Funny, I always feel warmer down south when I have wind.

Funny reading that, was just thinking the same thing myself this morning. Perhaps not the Thames for me but a bit of piking seems like a good idea.
i went monday caught a biggy but as i tried to land it it thrashed and off it came
so im smarting going again sunday and gonna fish closer to the weir hopefully with better results, there are some big pike in the thames especially round laleham, shepperton and it will tie me over with things to do till a proper spring comes.
well i just went out to clean my van, and in the sun i started to get abit of a sweat on i hope its like this tomorrow-- i love not being at work
