Just got back from a little Heathrow rideout with Chris man it’s cold! I didn’t realise until I got home how cold I am my legs are like ice!
Not much grip out there either and saw the first traces of salt as well which isn’t good either!

try a pair of latex workshop (or surgical) disposable gloves underneath summer gloves works well for about 20 mins
Having just bought my bike, salt is the main factor keeping her in my garage at the moment. I need to get a hugger … any ideas where from?

As for the weather am worried about the poor old SV starting tonight, this cold and my poor old knacked battery doesnt fill me with much confidence. Starts alright at work on the way home inthe morning after sitting in the garage. God its been cold these last few days

How bad was my start… Bike was frozen, and my intention of leaving early to get to work for a study session before my test to pass my induction and garentee future employment…
I flattened the battery trying to start it and tired myself out trying to bump start.
AA only took 30mins and used carb cleaner in the air filter to get it going with the jump start.
But I arrived to work 5 mins late and had no study time for the test. I have just finished it and not confident of a successful pass.
I hope my other tests and practical will prevail and bring my average above the overall pass requirement.
