Got a pair of Gore-Tex Dainese, they are fantastic - I do 11 miles each way and my hands are never wet, however if you combine the wet + cold + wind then your hands will freeze in the winter, you need muffs or something.
Thanks, I’ll look at them, I tried muffs but on the M4/M25 at speed they pushed the levers and I didn’t like having my hands constricted in traffic, hence I have heated grips and. Want good gloves.
I bought the Rukka R-Star 2 in 1’s.
They are extremely warm and don’t let a drop of water in.
Don’t buy them in the UK- they are £190 here or around £120 from any of the German online stores.
I bought a pair of these 2 years ago. Still going strong. I even had a slow speed off in them, virtually no damage to the gloves or my hands. Been wearing them while commuting daily in all seasons, except summer. No problems with heavy rain. Good during british winters, but if the temperature drops below +5C, your fingers will definitely feel it (I was using them without the heated grips, mind you). Anyway, for 70 quid, I’m quite pleased.

I know you’re not after heated gloves per se, but having bought and then left in the back of the wardrobe far too many supposedly waterproof gloves, my Exo2 about the best I’ve tried. They’re as near to 100% waterproof as you’re going to get and are warm even without the heating being swithed on. Sadly, they are a bit above you’re £100 budget.
The Rukka gloves look great and would go with the Rukka suit I’m getting but trying to limit myself on price due to cost of suit and looking for new waterproof boots but thanks, might end up stretching to something like these depending on what else is out there.
Held have a good reputation and these seem good, thanks
Oxford Bone Dry handle bar muffs go on the Bonne’ around January/February and say on until about March/April
Held Arctic Goretex gloves - ride every day and Jackie and I have these and neither of us have got wet or cold hands since we got them the winter before last. I have not used my heated gloves since i got them as my hands have never needed them.
Pay attention … the Held Arctics are well outside of budget
Think these are mine: http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/product/racer-quest-gore-tex-gloves/2886
They’ve served me very well so far
What???! I have never spent more than 40 on gloves, and every pair of waterproof ones have been waterproof. No big brands. Are you sure your jacket’s not running water down the sleeves?
My commute is hour & half each way leaving 4am so I thought I get decent gloves which will last, the rain comes from everywhichway on the motorway
Art, £98.75 including postage from the first site I looked at.
A bargain then with enough change for tea & biccy down at the hut
I should have checked, a voice in my head told me they were something like £150.00 :w00t:

I have these and they are fantastic. Extremely warm, and waterproof.
Oh, and when you buy them take a pair of silk gloves with you, it will allow you to add layers and make sure that they aren’t going to be to tight with the under gloves on.
I’ve seen a pair of Richa Arctic goretex that get very good reviews as well, just need to go to shops that stock some of these suggestions so I can try them on.
Not in a rush so gonna take my time, need them to fit correctly.
Many thanks for the help

I’m in the heated gloves camp. I tried some old Alpinestars Jet Road Gore-tex gloves. Were waterproof, but not warm enough for November onwards. Used the Gerbings XR12 heated gloves for last two winters. The 2012 were a bit naff reliability wise, but the 2013 model they replaced them with haven’t missed a beat. Gerbings were always super fast on replacements anyway. Tehy recommend waterproofing them with Nikwax etc, but I’ve never had them leak. Nice big cuffs and 2013 model has a cuff draw tie and visor wiper on thumb. But lovely and warm, no numb fingers even in sub zero temperatures and doing 70+ on motorway.
Will cost you about £160 though. That said, I got mine in a Buyapowa deal for £100, so keep an eye out.
SPADA enforcers are great. 2 seasons, £50, and in the cupboard for next year too- stunning performance & value. No complaints.
Richa- Crap! cold after the first 5 or 6 outings, only about 75% waterproof and the liner seperated from the outer. When I complained- it was because I was taking my gloves off too roughly!
My experiences only…
Very helpful thanks
