Given that my Sidi boots bought for winter are not waterproof and are blo*dy cold, I’m looking for a new set of boots which are warm and dry but still have good protection. Have seen a few which look very comfortable but lack any real protection other than being made out of leather.
cheap option would be to try gortex bootliners from an army surplus shop and use those with your Sidis however it may be a tight fit. Bootwise it depends how much you want to spend.
Thanks, have been looking at Gore-Tex socks, might be just the ticket as the winter boots I bought are a size larger so I can get a warmer sock or two socks inside them.
If those are what you sold Debs they are fabulous! She says they are comfy, warm & even in torrential rivers of rain in France her feet were dry as a bone whereas I was soaked thru
they are fantastic boots mate, dont look flash just do the job well no need for flash looking boots if you get wet feet.i have had a pair for 3 years now.
we also sell the puma gore-tex boots at £199.99 if you want flash looking waterproof boots.at rex judds west hampstead
we can order them in but we have to know you size and the model and colour that you want.as im not sure what discount we get so we can pass it on to you lot.they are £399.99 so with you discount its £339.99 is it worth all that extra money for just a winter boot ?some think so i have never bothered before and if its that inportant i would have bought daytonas over sidi race boots.so do you get my drift.we shouldn’t have a prob ordering them in if you really want them.
That’s the ones I have, they leaked around the front of the boot at the toes. I did have an accident in these, wonder if the fact the outer material is scratched is enough to allow water in ?
