Waterproof oversuit

I’m looking to get myself a 1 piece waterproof oversuit. Found a couple at M & P that look ok:
Buffalo Rain Suit and RST Waterproof Suit. I’ve also looked at the Frank Thomas Aquapak and Spada Oversuit.

I’m after something I can carry around easily, the Buffalo and Frank Thomas both fold into a bag. But I also need something that’s going to last. Anyone had any experience with them?

Thanks!

Got a Buffalo suit and a Frank Thomas

Both been fine for years, both cook you to death when the rain stops

Heine Gerrick do some very good suits at a reasonable price, I keep one for emergencies when I don’t have my fabric gear, and its never let me down

I would go for the FT, wore mine from Kent all the way to Le Mans in the pouring rain - bone dry underneath and no ballooning.

Have we found a thread Chunky knows nothing about? :Whistling:

I ride all day at work, and cover most of the uk south of Birmingham. Fortunately I have a Fazer for this; if i had to rely on the TL I would not get far, it’d pack up as well as freak me out. It’s all good and well having these easy, reliable, sharp handling, new machines.

Give me a bit of character, challenge and adventure any day…TL’s are classics.

Very interesting but whats this got to do with waterproof oversuits and Chunky? :ermm::smiley:

I don’t think you can buy oilskins anymore :w00t::smiley:

He did say he commuted every winter by bike for 20 years but I think that’s when bikes still had solid tyres :hehe:
