£800 the lot, but I have never been cold or wet, and that is in -1 Deg conditions on the motorway, and in the hissing rain, only sporting underwear and a long-sleeve t-shirt under it. I splashed out a bit as I commute daily a 70mile round trip and felt cheapo gear might be a bit hit and miss and a false economy.

The thermal innner jacket and trousers un-zip for when it warms up, armour in the knees, thighs, shoulders, elbows and back, 2 completely waterproof outer pockets, zip-together top jacket and trousers, unobtrusive high-viz strips, kevlar woven into the impact points and a removable storm collar if you are riding in the monsoon.

It’s lighter than my leathers too.

The only part of me that ever got cold in winter was hands (CBR600), but a set of heated grips sorted that out perfectly.

Rukka stuff is also superb, but even more pricey. This stuff lasts years though.
