I dreamt of an Aprilia RS250! I was mad for it! Instead I got to ride around on the back of one of these Urban Tiger fireblades, normally whilst on one wheel, lol.
Loved the 'tiger.

it was spring 1989…it was a saturday and i was playing round my mates on his nes…i was 11 year old and very impressnable…we heard a bike pull up and we looked threw the curtain to outside…i was mesmurized…
my mates older brother’s mate had pulled on a brand new GSXR750 slingshot…we almost fell over ourselves trying to get out the door…it was soo new you could still smell the newness of the bike radiating off its shiney new blue and white paintwork…
it was one of them moments in life that only lucky people get to feel…
i will never forget that day…as it was the first time i saw such an awe…and i remember staring at the pictures in performance bikes magaziene dreaming of owning one…it was my dream…
then i found one…i bought her off a guy who had one the lotto…up near lincon…from the first time i saw her i knew she had to come home with me…and she did…
this was my dream…and it came true…
smiled.

Laverda Jarama, softer tuned version of the evil beastie that they called Jota. Always fancied one.
I always fancied an RD350LC, or an RD500…but I guess I’m showing my age
Laverda Jota and Triumph Trident when I was a Kid. That makes me look old doesn’t it.
I liked the Triumph Hurricaine more then the Trident but they were like rocking horse doo-doos
These three was my dreams - i’ll own them all yet!!

My dream bike when I was growing up was a Kwak 750. Wasn’t allowed bikes at home, and was into cars. I realised my dream, I bought a brand spanker ZXR750 and still have it. To me, one of the most awesome road bikes of all time. Its very heavy, not exactly powerful when compared to the modern crop of bikes, but, its like a tin of Ronseal - It does everything it says on the Tin. Riding it always brings a smile to the chops.
Barry Sheene’s GP bike that I had a poster of on my bedroom wall…
After that… 1992/93 Fireblade was the first bike to really capture my imagination - partly due to the insane pillion ride around Bromley on it… Saturday lunchtime on the back of a colleagues boyfriends one… I was in T shirt and ill fitting lid and we went out for half hour of sheer lunacy - scared the bejesus out of me . Will have one in my dream garage
