Was Hamiltons win orchestrated by Bernie?

Just a thought…but it did all seem a bit odd on the last corner…

Definately, Bernie got his rain machine out and was cranking the wheel just like in that Kate Bush video Cloudbusting… or something.

PS: Dont be silly

I would agree with you, but if Glock was told to hang back I would have just let hamilton pass then floored it again and come in 6th, however he finished 10th so there was defo a problem with his car…

I feel for the car, but I do feel hamilton did deserve the win as he played the safe ball the whole way through the race.

What an excellent grasp you have on what happened…Bernie doesn’t have a rain machine but Glock slowed on the last corner no question…why? (maybe he just got tired of being consistantly quick?)

Rain machine and Kate Bush …and you’ve got the front to tell me not to be silly:w00t::wink:

That might have been a bit too obvious…6th or 10th made no difference to him…Not saying this is what happened BTW;)

Bernie hate hamilton as well and I mean really.

If you saw his comments on last years F1 as it was becoming apparent hamilton could win. Mr I don;t have enough money eccleston said he did not want him to win and it would be bad for the sport.

Also before yesterdays race, asked how he thought it would turn out he blantanly avoided that fact that hamilton was in a very strong position.

but thats ok because I dont like eccleston so COME ON

its a daft question, but worth asking…no I don not think he orchestrated it.

  1. If you took the time to watch the film, as Hamilton overtook him, Glock was lucky not to spin the car as he had no grip at all, when he accelerated the car was sideways…

  2. I very much doubt that Glock has any sympathy for Hamilton

  3. I very much doubt Mr Ecclestone wants anything other than what makes people watch the sport so that it continues to make money. The british are still very very keen on the sport

  4. I cant help but think the above means bugger all and that it really is all a sham and stage managed…to win in the first season would have been real bad in my eyes and in his (mr E), that may be why Hamiltons gearbox stopped for 30 seconds last year then suddenly started again when he couldn’t win the championship…

So my conclusion is… I am not sure but there is a lot of evidence to say that a lot of it is stage managed./…

No way was that orchestrated (Ferrari would blow that whistle if so!)… the drama was so good it did seem like it was scripted for a film though! :D:D

Nah course it wasn’t rigged. As 2Stroke said on another thread, Glock would not be sympathetic towards Hamilton winning the championship. He’s probably banging his head against a wall saying over and over again (in German of course): “if only I didn’t slide on that corner, if only I didn’t slide on that corner” etc.

Yep, I reckon it was kosher.

Glock would’ve had his own points target to meet, and I don’t think he would’ve sacrificed that to let Hamilton through.

And the way he was sliding around just after the overtake looked pretty convincing!

I think Ferrari would be going mental by now if they thought it was a set-up. We’d have heard about it.

Glock had dry tyres on whilst Hammie had his wets…

its on the BBC website… Glock just could not go as fast and Mc knew they could take Glock due to the GPS tracking of their car…

Hmm, well first I didnt mean to offend with my slightly off-the-cuff throw-away comment (notice the smiley please) and yes I do have a bloody good grasp of what happened, and I think its silly in the extreme to suggest that bernie could have orchestrated that.

Its quite simple, Glock was on slicks - he didnt come to change when the rain started thats whay he was in that position in the first place - it was starting to rain hard on the last few corners, the ham was on intermediates, as was Vetel and Trulli, hence they quickly cought and the Ham passed him. Glock lost 20 seconds on that lap and very nearly spun off, he did well to keep it on the black stuff.

I find it hard to even image any kind of orchestration when it could quite so have easily gone the other way with the severe unpredictable weather conditions.

meh

+1
oops didnt read point 4 properly, that bits wrong

Ok…accepting that, has Ferrari had decisions made in their favour on too many occasions this season?.. If you agree, do you think the puppets made the decisions, or B E ?Really glad Lewis got the Championship but Bernie will do ANYTHING to keep F1 alive and + interesting??

defo would not have come from B E he hates hamilton man that is clear!. and wayyyyy to many decisions have gone ferraris way in my opinion.

the race was sooooo exciting :ermm:glad it started raining or the paint would’ve dried.

the last 5 laps got me away from half of one episode of the come dine with me omnibus…

thats was IT.

Glad Lewis won though

:stuck_out_tongue:

Glock was on slick tyres which had no grip because of the rain, so Lewis caught up and took him.

Yes, I did notice that…clearly you missed the “wink” in my reply?:hehe:

I know who was on what and why it happened…Once again, you missed the point of my post.

PS. That’s a Smiley;)

Oh FFS!!!

Don’t care. Mr Hamilton has two wheels too many for it to matter:).
