I looked yesterday but guess those have just been put on. Thanks fella

No problem, are you looking to upgrade? Or is your front end caved in?

Upgrade! If I can get a good deal on some R&T’s like this, I’ll go for them, otherwise I think the stock ones will be sent off to Crescent Suzuki for a pro rebuild/upgrade.

I’m looking for better performance at the track. The front leaves a little to be desired in terms of feedback. I’m positive it’s holding me back some.

Don’t know if these are any good ?

I won the auction

Bought some Woodcraft clip-ons to compliment them as well and a carbon hugger. Can’t wait!

nice jay!!

good deal to…

cant wait to see um…

Good bargin, what are you doing with your old forks?

Cheers Adz, me too mate! Clipons arrived today, hugger is already on.

Put them in storage. I bought the Ohlins not because I think I can use the extra performance over a pair of rebuilt forks, but because I know I can get most of the money back on the Ohlins should I wish to sell them in the future. Can’t do that with rebuilt stock forks.

Depends on what you have done to the standard forks Jay, if you have the 25mm supersport K-Tech cartridge kit then you’d get good money back on them, or even the 20mm piston kit wouyld be a good upgrade

Ohlins will look the part though

For sure, though I meant if I just had rebuilt forks, I couldn’t sell them as the bike would be fork-less

I’ll be making a trip to BN Race Science after installation to get the right setup, before the Donington Park trackday.

they’ll look sweet on…

take it you already have ohlins on the rear?

wheres race science Jay? Ive just sent the WP 4618 rear shock for my trackbike off to MC Technics cant wait to get it back and on board!

Yep, got an Ohlins on the rear. Love it, big part of my decision to go for the full monty.

BN Race Science is West London, Twickenham way.

Are you doing Donington on the 14th with us?

was going to but had Oulton booked for 31st and didnt want to risk binning it before then as i’m looking forward to riding there so booked Brands eve on 13th instead

i know it dont make that much sense but Brands will be be a bit slower and the chance of major damage a lot less unlike Donny where as the overall average speed will be a lot quicker (makes sense in my world )

Logic has nothing to do with bikes, come on

Slow speed crashes seem to always be the worst.

My relative high speed offs on track have only left me with scratched bodywork and a few aches and bruises.

Maybe its just my luck

Erm… yup must be just you…

Last time i had a high speed off (120’ish) at Silverstone the bike came back trashed, upside down, inside out, round the wrong way etc, whiplash, sprained 2 fingers, pulled groin etc etc

when i had a slow speed off at Donny last month i only broke a footpeg hanger and nothing hurt

dam where did you crash at 120 at silverstone?

copes?
