Im after some light weight wheels for my bike, cash waiting anyone got any ??
Used ones are super scarce for the 1000 K5/K6. Apparently Braking do y-spoke rims (can’t remember if 10 or 20) with wavy discs for a grand. Not a huge weight saving over stock, but look sweet as!
Yes iv seen them they look well trick, my mates trying to do a deal for me on some. So soon il have a full set of wavy discs for sale !!
How much will you be asking for the discs?
I have some wheels I think they were left over from western international market, they look a bit wobbly dunno if there any use to you, maybe if your building a go kart, i have some nice rope if you want to use it for steering
The braking ones are cosmetic only, they are not a performance upgrade. Marchesini, PVM’s or the like look superb on the K5/K6! Good luck finding some Pete! You might want to check sites like gixxer.com.
Thanks for response iv spoke to a few people and for road use thay advise the Braking wheels as some light weight wheels have to be X-rayed for stress cracks but im sure thats racing wheels. So i might get the braking wheels for the pose value.
