Walking in the road

Very treacherous paths this morning so I opted for the roads. Most motorists were understanding but one or two 4x4s (surprise) not happy at having to slow down for a pedestrain…one or two words exchanged with one driver

So…am I and other pedestrians justified to use the road, or am I just a mardy tosspot with attitude? (Could be of course be both  )

Mardy ? First time I’ve heard anyone use that term since I left Leicester 20 years ago!

I have seen lots of people walking in the roads, completly understand, the pavements are so bad as they generally don’t get gritted, why risk falling over and breaking something, anyone who has a go a people for doing this needs to get a life!!

I walked along the road to town today far to dangerous on the pavements :pinch:
Was amazed at the fact the town centre had no salt down either are’nt councils a bunch of tw@ts
we live in a world thats advanced yet can’t cope wiv a bit of snow…Pah:angry:

Your a pedestrian, use the friggin pavement and stay off the road, better a broken ankle than a broken skull. If there’s snow & ice on the pavement tough titty, if the pavements were clear and cars used them then how would you feel. now stay out the road.

lol@rob

Part of the drivers job is too look for hazards and take action long before he gets to the hazard, anyone who reacts to a pedestrian as a reaction is an idiot who cant drive properly

lol - Rob, was that you in the 4x4 this morning?

No, stay away from the busy roads, remember the green cross code:D

Mel, fancy a walking weekend in Wales this April?

Green Cross Code: Stop, Push the baby out first in the pram, look, listen, cross

Walking weekend in this lovely snow? Nick, i would love too, thankyou

.unfortunately, i slipped yesterday and broke both ankles, dislocated my knees, and have developed some sort of breathing problem

Look i’ve never argued with you lot because i cant type that quick. but take note, the roads are a very dangerous place, please dont walk in the roads:w00t: Now i’ve said my bit:D

Someone else will have to join me sabotaging Rob’s trip then

just give him a little push to the side, he’ll do the rest

Robs in wales? Oh dear, take care rob those sheep are feisty, especially when its cold

he does have a point though. you can’t walk in the road and guarantee that everyone is in full control of their vehicle

Now taking the p*ss out of me is not fair, just because i dont agree with you lot. I’ve got to know a lot of you over the last few months and think your a great bunch so please dont walk in the roads;)

I am surprised there haven’t been more accidents reported of cars sliding into people. Dangerous out there, and people keep driving like tw@ts.

Love you really Rob… And you are of course right, it is dangerous, but people feel far more unsafe on the pavement when their feet are slipping and sliding. Fractures in accident and emergency depts have risen dramatically

+1…except the bit implying I am into manlove
