In guniess book of world record volvo is the only car to do over 2 million miles…I like BMWs but they r too dear to buy and also seconds r always high milage…volvo on the other hand dont have the trendy image as bmw but r very reliable…I am sure people will disagree…
One think that I will agree on is that they are both mostly driven by fcukin idiots !
Audi.
My family have run several Volvo’s and I currently have a diesel 940 estate I run on cooking oil. They’re a good used buy as the older cars are often more reliable than buying a new car.
We have a 740 we bought with 95k on the clock for £1.5k about 8 years ago. 35k later all we’ve done to it is fit new tyres and oil changes, nothing else! Always sails through it’s mot, stunning car reliability wise.
I only use mine for load lugging so can handle the image/boredom.
Audi A4 Avant SE, 165,000 miles, always passes its MOT and any Volvos in it`s path.
Neither, i`d by another bike.
I have a high mileage 2003 BMW 3 series and I’ve only had to change the sensors in the 2 years I’ve had it. It has over 115,000 miles on it, passes mot and still looks good.
I wouldn’t go for a volvo but that’s not for mechanical reasons, lol.
AUDI!!!
I got a Volvo v50 and its a very nice car and comfy! but I have always preferd Audi’s
I drive a Skoda Buttnugget, no image, no power, no comfort whatsoever but at least its not a BMW and for that I can hold my head up high with pride, honour and integrity.
I have some experience of Vulvas but I’ve never driven one personally
Audi all the way:)
i always loved audis and dreamt of owning one
so when i could i bought a brand new A3
sodding engine had to be changed after 11 months!
got rid of the piece 'o crap
‘downgraded’ to an astra and bought trainging and a CBR600F with the rest
best decision i ever made
oh and i prefer volvo drivers

ok
Audi, older ones are reliable thats is for sure but the newer ones are buckets of poo, as above A3 engine replaced after 11 months, my managers A4 auto gear box went after just 2 years!
BMW nice cars very expensive to maintain according to my old man who has worked in the trade for almost 40 years.
Volvo cheap, reliable as hell and I’m in the process of selling my current car to get me a Volvo S40 (mainly cos the wife is learning to drive and “when” she hits something I want her and the kids to walk away from it)
I have had my A3 for 2 years, in that time I have covered 45 odd thousand miles and all it has needed is tyres and oil. Can’t fault it
Had an Audi A8 for a couple of years…great car. Now got an S8…fantastic car, almost as good as the bike!
get a SAAB they are awesome just as safe and reliable as volvo and bmw and have a fun turbo on all there models!
good for a 150mph ish on a closed texas road of course;)
Petrol SAAB if you get a choice…My Dad has a Volvo 240 estate, proper volvo 15 years old 200k on the clock, and still starts first time everytime. Nothing electric, apart from the windows, so nothing to go wrong. Basic but it works, and you can carry everything and the kitchen sink in it!![]()
I do not like any Scandinavian car!!! they are very reliable but no look at all!!
