Vinyl Coating

Has anybody use a product similar to this? it 80£ for a plastic vinyl cut to my bikes shape so i dont really wanna spend that much if its no good so if anyboyd has used such a product it would be good to know how well if at all it worked.

Im on a gsxr and the paint is thin and the finish is not…honda. so need to find clever ways of protecting my bike form the elements all year round because i, like many do not hang the boots up in october

I think Suzuki’s one coat paint must be the thinnest in the motoring world.:w00t:

You can get a roll of clear fablon from your local DIY store for about 6-7 quid. This will be enough to do all your bike, and you’ll have hours of fun cutting all the different shapes and sizes to suit.

It is the biggest pig in the world to fit right, an absolute nightmare to eliminate air bubbles or creases but is worth it in the end. The initial result will look quite patchy as it takes a couple of days to ‘bed in’ properly, just be patient with it.

Why not just get it laquered?

contemplating a carbon vehicle wrap for my 'bird cheaper than a respray and the company did a DB9 in gulf racing colours, would be doing my bike or coule go for repsol scheme, but the carbomn is harder wearing

im on it, that sounds much more cost effective! cheers pal!

Thats amazing! I love the Lambo! - What sort of price have you been quuoted for the 'bird? - I see a full carbon wrap for a smart car is £1200 - i cant imagin they’d offer you that big a discount from that?

been offered it at cost of materials…just because they want to do a bike, still trying to decide whether to or not then its getting decals to look right prolly the newer 3D ones from newer 'birds
