This was my first gixxer, and boy, I loved it! This was the day before a trackday at Brands, so Cezar and I went to First Bike in Tooting for a tuning session. The shop’s no longer there unfortunately, but the technician there did a great job of remapping the bike’s ECU so it got more power through the rev-range because of the Akrapovic exhaust BMC air-filter.
I just love seeing bikes on the dyno, I love hearing them scream! I loved this bike so much, then a week later it was stolen unfortunately. I was gutted I want another one for the track!
Resulting power was 131bhp at the rear wheel, which was good for the bike, pulled hard! The K4 750 I had after that did 134bhp, which again was very good for the bike. Both bikes were run in hard, none of this pottering around for a week rubbish! Suzuki engines are made tough!
