I was at my mate’s workshop this morning - he’s helping me fix up a problem I’ve got with my Husky - and they’ve got a rather lovely red VFR750 for sale.
It’s a bit of a steal at just under a grand. 23,000 on the clock, service history and 1 year mot…
Not sure what year it is but it has the single sided swingarm. Very nice bike - I buy it if I had the money!

single sided swingarm like every VFR 750 except the first one?
Well, you’ve got the one with the single sided swingarm and the one with the conventional swingarm. This one has the single sided swingarm.

Every VFR750 since 1990 has had the single-sided swinger.
Well, if I just put ‘VFR750 for sale’ I bet the first question would be ‘is it the single sided swingarm one?’
well unless its the vfr750FK (the very first model circa 88/89 then it will have a single sider (as per my original post) as almost no one knows about the first model (unless like me you know far too much useless crap) then most people would assume that its got a single swingarm like all other ones for the last 25 years…
but at least we know its red, so that should narrow it down.
does it have the 2 square headlights? then it’ll be the 94-97 one
It’s a 1993 bike. Saw it today and it is nice. Think a VFR is a bit too chunky for what I’m looking for though so I’ll probably leave if for someone else.
