So, most people that are spoken for, will be busy, and those who are bitter bout being single, will be treating it like any other day, so wot about anyone else?

After 25 years (after the first really) Valentines Day is like any other  you’re not missing much, …though with your Irish charm I can’t understand why you’re not spoken for … go to the Herts meet tomorrow, your luck might be in with JP

I might buy a card…For my Bike;)

I’m looking forward to a romantic evening with Mrs BB.

Generally, I don’t like being made to feel that I’ve got to do something special just because it’s a random day that someone else has chosen, but I’ve always loved Valentines Day, whether I’ve been single or in a couple, so I enjoy making a bit of an accasion out of it. I think it’s all quite exciting (even though my last mystery card was decades ago  )

And for the truly sceptical, I’d suggest that since you’re probably going to do something (go for a meal/go out somewhere/cook a nice meal at home, etc) with or for your loved one at some point in the weeks around V-Day, it’s smarter to use a bit of fwd planning and make sure that you do the thing that you were going to do anyway, but brand it as a special V-Day thing, and you get more Brownie Points for no additional effort.

Keep her sweet and add to her mountain of shiny things.

I prolly get some dog **** choccies that I don’t even like.

Haven’t really celebrated Valentine’s day even when I was with someone, not sure I like all the hype and the expectations, much rather receive flowers when I’m least expecting them, so all of you fellas who’re desperately waiting to send me flowers, make it a week or so after :stuck_out_tongue:

will, however, be going out with mates as it’s Thursday, it’d be rude not to

Do a track day

Load of hype, probably started by Hallmark :stuck_out_tongue: Rather receive a romantic gesture off the cuff, than on Valentines Day, otherwise its more a case of "I had to, than wanted to :hehe: " AND it doesnt have to be expensive or involve roses!

However, heres a few cards:-

One for all you sexy people

One for JohnP

Don’t think i’m doing anything this year, but last year went out with my best mate, went for a meal then went out on the **** (lash)(Woops, forgot about that word not being allowed.) It was the best night and we sure looked like we were having much more fun than any couples I saw out. She even bought me a singing and dancing valentines gorilla! :w00t: Shame she’s stuck in Lancaster and i’m stuck down here this year!

LOL gotta agree with u about hallmark, making money somehow!!! Me u can buy a rose for any day of the year!

Personally, I never have the time to do this sort of thing… However, I do have an idea for all us single types!

Why don’t we have all meet for a coffee in central London somewhere? Leicester Square? Covent Garden? Pretty much anywhere with a Starbucks?

It’s either that, or we can sit at home wondering why nobody asked us out for dinner etc…

What do you say?

RR

Well for me a bottle of champagne for one! (sad i know!) :stuck_out_tongue:
