My husband urgently needs to gets his hands on an exhaust baffle (DB killer) for a track day on tuesday.
It needs a 2" diameter outlet. The one we have doesnt fit!!! :w00t:
If anybody has one that will fit, would we be able to borrow it??
We’re in Waltham Abbey but would be able to come and collect, whatever is easiest 
What exhaust is it and for what bike?

exhaust is a full race system akropovic in titanium,bike is a K1 gsxr 600
tail pipe outlet is 2" and the one we have does not fit, system is very loud and will probally not pass noise test at brand’s on tuesday evening, which will be the bike’s maiden voyage and would hate to not get on the track…
I no it’s abit short notice but any help would be gratly apriciated…

dont know if my db output would be the same as it is not a standard engine but to be honest would’nt realy know as i am new to track day’s and was advised to have baffles just in case…

must admit it would be better to have some! but i have seen plenty of full acros on track without them! never done brands???
My k1 600 with standard exhaust and leo vince can no baffle was 92db (standard engine)
and mates 600 k1 full acro no baffle was 98db (tuned to some degree)

105db limit at brands i think
re- baffles…red bull can cut open, flattened, drill good few holes, shape to can…it works!! ask arnie!
take it out after teh noise test tho;) or somewill will get shot with a red bull can:D:w00t:

Should he say hes got a 1000 rather than 600, cos he’s heard they test them differently and its easier to get away with a 1000??? 
the dude that done mine was a stroppy old so and so…anyway…they testted nmine at 5000rpm, some hold it a bit under;) sometimes i think they test at 4 and 7k rpm
one the trackday regulars will know for sure:)

I’ve got a pair of un-used baffles for my akros, but they’re slip-ons for a 660, so they may be different diameter/shape?
If they fit your welcome to use them.

See I’m missing a baffle (!) and if they are going begging I’d take one of them off your hands. Ta.
interested in the baffles, what is the diameter of the pipe they come out of…
I would only need to borrow for tuesday…as my mate has one that fits.but is on his hol’s at mo…and got his garage key with him…how inconsiderate, haha
please reply and i will collect on monday if the baffles fit and it is convienent…
