UPDATE:-Well the police have just nicked the little sh!te bag, he pleaded with me to help him obvisouly I laughed…

Got hold of the bloke who owns the bike.

I work in the clerkenwell area, we have been watching a group of about 4-5 youths coming and going since about midday sniffing around our bikes.

They have just taken pictures of the KTM outside the office if this is yours, or you know someone in the area riding the KTM please warn them now.

The police have been called and shouhld be patrolling the area but this bike HAS been marked!!!

clerkenwell close pretty sure the guy is in one of the offices opposite the bike, I’ve tried to track him down but with no luck at the moment…

Guy who own’s it is in his 30’s I would say (only got a breif look at him this morning)

Have you tried asking on the front desk of the office you think he works in, they may know who he is?

If it’s still there when you leave work you could leave him a note

spoke to one of the offices, the otherone I could not get into and no one was at the front desk so I’ve called them, not sure how much luck they will have though

I had a similar issue the other day, hon - risked it and chained my bike to his - left him a note on it saying to contact me to have it released. I made him start it up before I did unlock it to prove he had the key. But he didnt seem to care… wasn’t grateful at all (I only took about 2 minutes out of his day by doing it). And the police were powerless to do anything about it.

Nice to see people keeping an eye out for others. Hope you get hold of the rider and warn him. Scrotes should be bagged, tagged and de-balled.

Maybe you could lock it your bike and leave a note for the owner to call you to get it released, just a thought!!!

If someone did this to my bike, I’d definately buy them a pint - I’d rather that someone has locked up my bike and left a note to call them because you saw some scrotes knocking around it and photographing it than losing my bike…

I ride past there on the way home so will have a look see when i go past…

If you chained my bike up PPG id apreciate it, obviously there are some ignorant people out there but im sure he would have been realy pissed off and delayed by more than a few minutes if it was stolen, something he should have thought about and been more apreciative.

GOOD WORK SLEEPER If you call Bracken 020 7232 1814 with the Reg number they should be able to call the owner! and they’d be there in time to buy you a beer before you go home!!
