update on me sv now run in

had a bit of work done to the engine of my misses/my sv is our no:2 bike we both share for work.

now run in,gave it a good larripping,of the a set of lights onto a deul carriageway,with a 98r1 and zx6 i got off the the lights first nailed it flat out to the rev limiter in 3rd onward get in top its still pulling at 135mph at 10500 rpm. its now plulling flat out 140mph on the clock.the r1 came past me at 120 thumb up shaking his head kawk was up my arse at 130come past when i shut off at about 137.

what with the ohlins and engine work on it now its a real little flyer.

stil needs to be dyno’d again now its run in,as its still abit rich.

it was the misse bike then she bought a duc but didn’t want to leave it in a bike bay,so i dispatch it for 2yrs.and we had all the tuning bits in the garage anyway so after i smashed me r1 up its my only mode of transport till about march.

so will see what its knocking out when all up and running properly

yes its an old 2001 model

Mines a 2005 SV650S and no mods at all and the most I got it showing on the clock is 139mph! wonder what an aftermarket can and decent suspension upgrade would do for it? hmmmm

Thats fast for an SV, my mates old one would only do about 120mph before hitting the limiter in 6th and then it’d go backwards I pissed him right off once when he was flat out out on his SV with his chin on the tank and I pulled up next to him on my Blade 2 up sitting bolt upright one handedThen accelerated up to about 150
