Hi all - i recently bought one of these lil’ charmers … i’ve had a few Classic Kawa’s etc i stupidly forgot to ask the seller if it used leaded or unleaded petrol and he’s not replied to texts etc nice … i believe it to be an US import - imported 1994? - so anyone any advice? Looking for a local mechanic to look it over too - i am based near The Oval South London. Cheers.
unleaded should be fine as they was using unleaded way b4 us in the usa anyway.
all japanese produced engines run unleaded fuel.

just about all standard japs are lead free . a few exceptions i understand , cb 1100r , rc 30 . z1000j should be fine but its one of those bikes that have an interchangebility of other kaw engine parts like gpz11oo . hope thats enough lest the nightmares of j internals return from the 80s . gsxr carbs dont quite work as a sub
