My DRZ400 needs a new front tyre, what do people currently think is the best (for all year road riding).
other forums suggest pilot powers but then point out a supermoto tyre may be better on a supermoto.
also, the rear is a radial and most shops wont fit a cross ply to the front stating legal reasons, but the only law i can find on the manner is that you cant mix on the same axel.
I have the maxxis supermoto on mine but unfortunately haven’t really used it enough to give a proper verdict (front has done maybe 300 miles, rear about 30 :D). Grip seems definitely good in dry and as much as I tested ok in wet but didn’t push it as I didn’t want to bin it before putting it up for sale
