I am running a set of BT 010’s at the mo and I am thinking abotu changing the rear soon. Has anyone had 010’s then changed to 014’s? is there any difference?
I am a bit of a bridgestone man to be honest but I was wondering whether I should venture to Michelin / Pireli?
Pirelli yes - Michelin NO.
Got a 636 and Michelin Pilot Sport that it came with I do not rate at all. Pirelli Corsas are way better. I know people with R1’s and they swear by 014’s but dont know anyone running them on a 636.
Never been completely happy with Michelin, or Dunlops. Pirelli are consistently high performances and promote bags of confidence, definately one I’d look at before Bridgestones. I couldn’t get on with the BT014’s on two different bikes before as well, felt lazy to turn in and didn’t inspire confidence at the track.
I used to have BT010 on my cbr6, and liked them. I’ve got BT012SS on the blade and I think they are very good. FWR.co.uk are doing deals on them at the minute.
I’ve heard that the BT014 turn in fast, that’s from cbr6 riders. I’ve also heard the Pirelli’s are really good, the girlfrind has them on her bike.
