Tyre time

So i need a new set of tyres for my CBR. I’ll probably go with the BT020’s that my brother was using, but any thoughts on the BT014’s milage and grip differences? Also I’m in north west London where is the best place to get this sorted out?

I’d go with the BT 020’s. With winter approaching (boo, I know) they’ll give better grip in the wet stuff. I’ve got BT 020’s on my CBR.

The 014’s are Okay, but you don’t get as many miles from them.

Ah yes the winter thing is almost about to rear it’s ugly head again 020’s it is.

Hey, needed to replace the standard Dunflops on my ZX636 as I got a nail in the rear last week and I use my bike for commutting as well as weekend fun - check out this post…

Have gone for BT014’s…partly because thats all the local dealer could get me at short notice and part cause a friend recommended.

Rode them yesterday evening when I finally got the front off and back on (which meant I missed the Hastings bash)…and woweee…stick like s**t to a blanket…roll on a track day!

You could do worse than to try out our competition partners this month, Essential Rubber. I’ve heard nothing but good things said about them on LB:
