Tyre fitting cost

Hi all, can anyone tell me the best price I can get and where in South London / Surrey to have a pair of tyres I have bought on ebay fitted ride in /out ? Cheers.

try fwr kennington or the oval motorcycle centre

Most places now charge £25 per wheel.

If you go to the OMC just book an hour of bench time (£20) and its a DIY job. Having said that Matt will operate the tyre changing machinery.

Thanks. Best I got is £48 for both wheels. Not cheap. A lot cheaper up North apparently.

Just go to the OMC it’ll cost you £20 for both + disposal costs. If you really wanna save cash take your old tyres with you and bung them in a dumpster on your way home.

Thanks but I prefer to have it done, I’m useless with tools.

Matt will operate the machine.

And you get to watch and go, “mmmmm”

Try Wraysbury tyres in Chertsey, they charge about £10 a tyre on loose wheels but I’v never used them for ride-in, ride-out fitting.

yes £48 for both wheels. UNIVERSAL tyres wanted £50!

Glad I’ve seen this topic.
Need the rear changed on my Nexus.

I think Metropolis was around £40 per wheel.

It might be different a price for a scooter. Give them a call 01932 562299.

@ Redline - Let me know where you end up going and how much you end up paying.

@ Daniel GT : £175 fitted ride in ride out.

and this is what the old BT015 looked like before replacing after 6250m:

Where from?

DON’T GO TO METROPOLIS IN VAUXHAUL!

They ripped me off on Friday. Tyres and a service nearly £900! and Nothing much done in the service!

I was under the impression that you were going to take your own tyres.

I would say if your going to buy tyres go to Essential Rubber but they don’t stock Maxxis.

£135 a pair with free P&P and 4L of Motul semi-synthetic oil.
